The annual Girl Scout Fest returns to Southwest Texas February 20 through March 1, and San Antonio restaurant leaders and alumni, including Lisa Wong of Rosario’s and Elise Russ of Clementine, are supporting the nonprofit by introducing limited-time desserts and cocktails available exclusively during the event.
Rosario’s ComidaMex & Bar
2024 Trefoil Award recipient Lisa Wong ushers in the festival with a new limited-time cocktail, the s’more than espresso martini, inspired by the new Exploremore cookie. This rich, velvety espresso martini is topped with a sprinkle of cookie crumbs for a sweet, crunchy finish.
Each year, the restaurateur looks forward to the festival as an opportunity to celebrate her Girl Scout roots and give back to the next generation of young women, sharing her passion for mentorship and culinary creativity.
Clementine
Nine-year Girl Scout alumna Elise Russ returns for another year of Girl Scout Flavor Fest with an elevated take on this year’s new Exploremore cookie. A strong advocate for supporting young professional women, she brings her passion for mentorship and empowerment to the collaboration.
For the event, she presents Rocky Road, a dessert featuring toasted almond ice cream layered with house-made marshmallow and creamy cremeux. The dessert will be available for $18 throughout the festival.
Elise Russ and Lisa Wong bring their culinary creativity to Girl Scout Flavor Fest and, as members of Les Dames d’Escoffier, share a passion for lifting up the next generation of women in food, beverage, and hospitality. Through this festival, they honor their Girl Scout roots while inspiring young women to dream big.
