After more than seven decades serving the community, The Barn Door, one of San Antonio’s most iconic steakhouses, has announced it will close its doors. The restaurant’s final day of service will be Mother’s Day, May 10, 2026.
This is not an easy decision. For more than 70 years, The Barn Door has been a place where people came together to celebrate life’s milestones, share meals, and create memories. It has truly been the privilege of a lifetime to serve this community.
