National Burger Day is approaching on Thursday, May 28, and local restaurants across San Antonio and New Braunfels are showcasing their own unique takes on the all-American classic.
Known for its chef-driven craft burgers in downtown New Braunfels, Muck & Fuss is celebrating National Burger Day with double loyalty points on all burger purchases.
The beloved Castle Hills eatery is elevating National Burger Day with its fork-and-knife smash burger. Chef John Russ starts with ground brisket sourced from a local Texas barbecue spot, layered with New York cheddar, sherried caramelized onions, and served on a house-made brioche bun.
Executive Chef Richard Pichon is bringing a contemporary Mexican twist to National Burger Day with the restaurant’s Mexican Hamburger, stuffed with a bean and cheese chalupa. The burger is further elevated with guacamole and chipotle mayo.
Blending French flavors with Texas flavors, the eatery highlights its Maverick Burger, made with certified Angus beef. Executive Chef Edward Ebert puts a refined spin on the classic burger with rich béarnaise, caramelized onions, and vine-ripe tomatoes, bringing the restaurant’s French-inspired approach to every bite.
