This Sunday, Muck & Fuss is inviting the community to help celebrate one of New Braunfels' most beloved faces. Marvin Roberts, the restaurant's longtime host, is turning 90 years old, and everyone is welcome to join the party.
The celebration will take place Sunday, July 19, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Muck & Fuss, located at 295 E. San Antonio Street in downtown New Braunfels.
While Marvin's birthday falls on Wednesday, July 22, the New Braunfels community is coming together this Sunday to celebrate the milestone. Guests can enjoy 90¢ longneck beer bottles from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. while honoring the man who has been welcoming visitors with a smile since Muck & Fuss first opened its doors in 2018.
For the past eight years, Marvin has become a fixture in the New Braunfels community. Whether he's dressed as Santa, sporting festive holiday attire, or simply greeting guests with his signature warmth, Marvin has made thousands of visitors feel at home.
Ask Marvin what he loves most about working at Muck & Fuss, and his answer is simple: the guests.
"I really love seeing the kids," Marvin says. "They're always so excited when they get ice cream."

The celebration will also include a special presentation from New Braunfels Mayor Michael French, who will present Marvin with a Key to the City at 3 p.m. in recognition of his years of service and the joy he has brought to the community.
"Marvin represents everything hospitality should be. He makes every guest feel like family, and we're honored to celebrate this incredible milestone with him."
